The nDesktop is the latest Microsoft Windows® version delivered from the nivio Cloud. It is the world's first fully capable delivery of a Windows® desktop to any connected device. Access it from any device including; a tablet, Mac, Chromebook or Windows machine. You can experience your nDesktop from a downloadable client, your favorite browser, or our rich HTML 5 browser-based client. Each gives you access to your personalized desktop in seconds.

Your nDesktop behaves just like normal, but is delivered to you from nivio’s Cloud anytime you need it and on any device. Run all the applications you want - you'll have plenty of our horsepower delivered to you, on-demand.

An important admission from us: moving desktops to the cloud is not an easy task and some features you had before have been replaced to make the service a better experience for you. Equally important, we did this to enable future product releases and features to happen faster. Stay tuned for our obsessive diligence to ensure you have the best Cloud desktop experience imaginable.

Things we changed:

- You don't install your own software - you choose it from our app-store (nApps) and it just appears in your application stack in less than 5 seconds.

- You can't run executables (we are working on a way to let you do this)

Things we are working on:

- Video playback - we know this is important

- Webcam support - this is something many of our customers want and it’s on our list.

- Gaming - games are currently not supported on nivio but we aim to get there very soon!
